  Technology: Live working technology needs to study high-voltage electrostatic field, DC ion current electric field, electromagnetic induction, electrostatic shielding, physiological reaction of human body under the influence of electric field, magnetic field and current, and various thresholds.

4. What are the working methods for live working?

  In terms of operation methods, live working includes ground potential work, intermediate potential work and equipotential work.

Working principle of ground potential operation: the operation in which the operator keeps the same potential between the human body and the ground (or tower) and contacts the electrified body through insulating tools. The relationship between human body and electrified body: earth (tower) → insulating tools → electrified body.

  Working principle of equipotential operation: the operator maintains the same potential with the electrified body (conductor). At this time, the relationship between human body and electrified body is: electrified body (human body) → insulator → earth (tower).

5. What is the difference between live working and power failure working?

  Requirements for safe distance. Live working can only be done by sitting, and the hands cannot be extended too high.

  The self-protection requirements for operators are high.

  High requirements for weather.

  Different tools and instruments. Wire rope, chain block and other metal tools and instruments can be used for power outage maintenance, and insulating ropes, insulating suspenders, shielding clothes and other insulating and protective tools and instruments must be used for live working.

6. What tools and materials are required for live working?

  The insulating materials for making live working tools must have good electrical performance, high mechanical strength, light weight, low water absorption, aging resistance and easy processing.
